The motorpumps are paired with tanks made of composite materials, which guarantee: - Maximum lightness: on average the GRP tank has a lower weight of about 50% compared to a tank of the same capacity realized with other materials (eg stainless steel); - Resistance and flexibility: the mix of glass fiber fabrics and resins used with the present technology, ensures greater solidity and resistance compared to other materials, while being more easy to be repaired; - Product / money: with tanks GRP you have cost savings that are overturned on the lower price of the end product. The GRP tanks can be realized in different shapes: “L”, “T”, “C” cube or “Q” for ATV. Depending on the type of tank, inside there are breakwater bulkheads and an internal foam tank can be add. The steel tanks are made of stainless steel AISI 304, reinforced with external ribs and walls of adequate thickness to withstand stresses. Inside there are structural reinforcements and breakwater bulkheads, in order to ensure an easy and safe transportation. The stainless steel tanks can be produced in "L" and "T" shapes. Special versions available on request.
The tanks in GRP are also available reinforced in Kevlar-carbon, which ensures a greater mechanical strength, making them self-supporting and consequently lighter, as this eliminates the steel frame that supports the motor pump. Specifically, the tanks have a reinforcement structure made of carbon fiber and Kevlar, fitted with 4 from the tank protruding bolts, which allow the fixing of the motorized pump units (maximum weight of 150 kg). The Carbon Kevlar structure also serves as a double transverse bulkhead within the tank. These tanks are available only with an L-shape, of capacity 350, 400, 500 and 600 lt.
The complete and full optional kit within Fireco range is equipped with PAN041 control panel: it is a simple and elegant HMI that allow the user to control all the kit functions and monitor all the parameters; it is available for High pressure kit with water, with FHP system and with FHPF system with flow rates equal or less than 70 l/min. The PAN041 has different functions: - On/off LED strip – Electrical hose reel rewind – Emergency engine switch off by-pass – Hour counter – Voltmeter – Pressure regulator valve knob – Manometer – Tank level led indicator – Emergency stop – Foam mixing system
The section dedicated to the accessories for the high pressure kits includes a wide range of special products designed to specifically and appropriately complete all the possible configurations. Thanks to the number and variety of products available, each kit can be equipped with the most suitable accessories for the reference application in order to maximize the performance of each individual component. Among the accessories offered by Fireco it is possible to find fixed or transportable, manual or electric hose reels, tubes of different diameters and lengths, water or water/foam guns, fittings for hydrant filling, guides for hose rewinding, hydraulic ejectors and suction kits, extensions for hoses and practical emergency switches designed to protect the integrity of the motor pump even in the event of running out of water.
The FHP system, patented by Fireco, allows the use of foams or other mixing films, regardless of the load losses of the circuit. This allows to avoid the typical problems of the Venturi mixing systems, such as the length of the tube: the FHP system allows the operator to obtain good performance even in the presence of 200m of tube, keeping the correct mixing ratio between water and foam. The FHP system is equipped with a special water/foam gun with 4 different types of jets: full, nebulized, blade and with foam. It is possible to choose between two different types of mixers: - FHP SYSTEM, that allows a constant and infinite regulation of mixing between water and film-forming liquid. - FHPF SYSTEM, that in addition shows to the operator, on the visualizer, an approximate indication of the mixing degree between water and film-foaming liquid.
