To ensure maximum efficiency and adaptability of the MecMast, Fireco offers a selection of optional components specifically designed to enhance performance and meet application-specific needs. The MecMast can be equipped with different add-ons:
Engineered for harsh environments, the sand scrapers protect the telescopic mast from internal contamination by sand, dust, and dirt. These seals remove debris before it can compromise the system’s performance. More durability, less maintenance a small component that makes a big difference wherever reliability is key.
Fireco’s anemometer monitors real-time wind speed and provides an advanced alert system for critical weather conditions. Integrated with the mast’s control system, it can trigger automated safety responses, such as automatic retraction during high winds.
Smart prevention, tailored to your needs.
These spacers create a strategic gap between the mast rings, preventing freezing and blockage. Even in icy conditions, the mast remains accessible and operational. A simple yet ingenious solution to ensure reliability in the harshest climates.
Control options
The MecMast is operated via dedicated software provided on a USB device, enabling full control from a PC or laptop.
The user interface allows real-time monitoring of the extended height, rotation angle (for versions with an electrical rotating base), power consumption, duty cycles, and warning or alarm messages. The software is available in multiple languages.
Each MecMast unit is supplied with a control box in various configurations. In the standard version, the box features cable glands for straightforward and efficient installation. For more demanding applications, or where higher levels of reliability and compatibility are required, military-grade connectors are available as optional upgrades. Controls are offered in various formats, with or without military connectors, and can include displays for real-time operational data visualization.
Cable management
Fireco provides various external cable management systems for power and signal lines running along the mast.
Anodizing and coating
All our pneumatic masts, supplied as standard in silver-grey anodized aluminium, can be customized in different colours upon request.
The anodized finish of the telescoping tubes can be supplied in various tones such as sand yellow, green, or brown.
Closed mast bodies and accessories can be painted in a wide range of RAL (and non-RAL) colours, allowing the mast to blend seamlessly into its operational environment.
