High pressure kits

Fireco is also one of the world leaders in the production of high pressure kits and motor pumps. We have over 120 different models that are distinguished by the use of diaphragm or piston pumps, petrol or diesel engines. Particularly suitable for this use are the GRP tanks, for their strength and lightness at the same time. Available in more than 20 types of capacity and shape, they have always been the hallmark of Fireco high-pressure kits. On request, stainless steel tanks are available. Fireco offers a patented FHP foam mixing system that allows the mixing of foaming agents with a mixing percentage of 0.1 ÷ 6%, regardless of the load of the circuit. It is possible to use the dosing system with any length (up to 200m) and type of tube.

Motorpumps

Below is a brief list of the pumps available with petrol and diesel engines:

DIAPHRAGM
Lt/1’ @ bar
PISTONS
Lt/1’ @ bar
50/40 42/100
70/40 42/150
80/50 34/170
100/50 21/200
135/20 50/100

High pressure kit with GRP tank

High pressure kits with GRP tanks guarantee:
Maximum lightness: on average, the tank has a weight of less than 50% compared to a tank of equal capacity made with other materials (for example in stainless steel);
Resistance and flexibility: the mix of glass fiber fabrics and resins used with the current technologies guarantees greater solidity and strength compared to other materials.
Value for money: with the GRP tanks, cost savings are reversed on a better final price of the product.

The GRP tanks can be made in different forms:
"L" shaped (capacity 350-400-500-600-800lt);
"T" shaped (capacity 350-400-450-500-550-600lt);
Cube or "C" shaped (capacity 100-200-600-1000-1250-1500-1750-2000-2500lt);
For ATV or "Q" shaped (capacity 100-150-200lt).

High pressure kits with Kevlar reinforced GRP tanks

GRP tanks are also available in a reinforced carbon-Kevlar version, which ensures greater mechanical strength, making them self-supporting and therefore lighter, since the steel frame supporting the motor pump is eliminated. Specifically, the tanks have a reinforcing structure made of carbon and Kevlar fibers, equipped with 4 threaded pins protruding from the tank, which allow the fixing of the motor pump units (maximum allowed weight 150 kg). The Kevlar-carbon structure also acts as a double transverse bulkhead inside the tank.

High pressure kit with stainless steel tanks

The stainless steel tanks are made of AISI 304 steel, reinforced with external ribs and walls of sufficient thickness to withstand stress. Inside there are structural reinforcements and they are complete with breakwaters in order to ensure their easy and safe transport. The stainless steel tanks can be produced in different shapes: "L"; "T"; cube or "C"; Given the type of material and the production processes to build the tanks, they can be made customized on request.

Special foam mixing system

For the mixing of foam, Fireco proposes its own patented FHP system.

The FHP system allows mixing water and different types of fire-extinguishing foams, or other film-forming liquids, allowing the user to obtain different degrees of mixing. The FHP system also makes it possible to overcome the problems generated by traditional line mixers working with the Venturi system, which, with different diameters and considerable tube lengths, do not allow a constant, uniform and qualitatively acceptable mixing.

With the FHP system, also the use of very long tubes (up to 200m) is not a problem: regardless of the internal diameter of the pipe, the correct mixing between the elements remains unaltered.
