Telescopic masts extended by compressed air
The pneumatic masts are telescopic solutions made from concentric aluminium alloy tubes. As standard, all tubes are anodized in a silver-grey colour. This treatment offers long-lasting protection against atmospheric agents, improves wear resistance, and enhances the product's appearance.
The masts extend using compressed air, which can come from compressors, hand pumps (when dimensions and load allow), or other sources such as the vehicle’s braking system.
Available in a wide variety of solutions, models range from lightweight portable versions to large masts capable of reaching heights up to 40 metres.
The base of the mast can be fixed, manually rotatable, or motorised, depending on the application. On top of the mast, it is possible to install various types of equipment depending on the intended use, such as lights, cameras, antennas, radars or Tilt & Turn positioning systems.

Each mast can be customised with a variety of accessories based on specific needs, transforming it into a complete, turnkey system.

Lightweight masts
Fireco’s lightweight masts offer a practical and high-quality solution at a competitive price. They are particularly suited for field operations thanks to their low weight and compatibility with foldable tripods, making them easy to transport in carry bags.
This product line is ideal for mounting lights, cameras, or other small devices, and can be extended using hand pumps or compressors.
The lightweight models Star, Primo, Super Primo, and Maxi Primo range from 66 mm to 101 mm in diameter, with the largest model reaching up to 20 m in extended height.
Each section features a handle for manual locking of extension and rotation. Once locked, the mast remains in position even without internal air pressure. The mast head has a 24 mm PIN adapter for mounting various lights, measuring instruments, antennas, etc.
Models Entry and Super Entry, with diameters of 66 mm and 80 mm, can feature an integrated coiled cable for powering the mounted equipment. Each section has a manual handle for locking both extension and rotation. Once locked, the mast maintains its position without internal air pressure.
The mast head includes a 24 mm PIN adapter for mounting various lights, measuring instruments, antennas, etc.
All the above categories of lightweight masts are designed for fast, easy mounting on foldable tripods, making them extremely portable. In addition to these masts masts, we also offer two portable lighting systems for emergency use:
Servolux: a compact and powerful battery-powered system featuring high autonomy and small size, ideal for fast interventions and operations requiring mobility.
Canguro: powered by a generator, it has a robust frame with wheels and adjustable feet perfect for scenarios requiring a more stable and versatile solution.
These solutions are designed to offer high performance and convenience, ensuring reliability in emergency operations.
Partner masts
The Fireco Partner mast series stands out for its wide range and adaptability, offering models that go from compact, small-diameter solutions to large-diameter masts reaching up to 40 metres in height. Thanks to this extensive range, paired with a wide choice of accessories, Partner masts are ideal for applications ranging from lighting and surveillance to telecommunications and more.
From a base diameter of 77 mm upwards, masts can be equipped with Tilt & Turn Units. Models up to 200 mm in diameter are also available in a COMPACT version engineered to optimise mast extension. Unlike the regular PARTNER series, the COMPACT version has no guide rings between the sliding tubes. This allows full retraction of sections without forming the typical "ring pyramid" beneath the mast head.
The result? With the same load capacity, COMPACT masts offer a better extension ratio arriving at similar extended heights to the PARTNER series but with significantly lower closed heights. Our highly specialised approach also allows us to develop fully customised solutions, tailoring every mast detail to meet customer-specific size and performance requirements.
Roof-mounted tilting masts
Fireco’s range of Roof Masts provides space-saving solutions by mounting the mast on the vehicle roof freeing up valuable storage space inside the vehicle. The Roof system allows the mast to tilt from a horizontal (0°) storage position to a vertical (90°) operating position.
Once vertical, the mast can be extended to the desired height via an electro valve control unit or, if needed, an integrated compressor. Available in 12V or 24V configurations, the system is controlled via a multifunction remote for precise and intuitive operation.
Masts can be equipped with dual or triple motorised heads and various combinations of LED lights, depending on operational needs.

Masts with locking systems
Pneumatic masts with locking systems are designed to keep heavy loads securely in position for extended periods without the need for constant air pressure inside the mast. Sturdy and easy to use, they are available with manual, semi-automatic, or fully automatic locking systems ensuring safety and operational stability.
Thanks to their strength and versatility, these masts are ideal for mobile communication, intelligence, surveillance, and security applications where high performance and continuous resistance are essential.
The STEADY series features manual locking devices using metal straps that wrap around each section. The friction-based locking ensures long-term stability and safety.
SUPERSTEADY masts use manual mechanical locking devices. Each section is equipped with two lever handles that insert locking bolts into dedicated slots on the tube, ensuring solid and reliable locking even in demanding conditions.
SUPERSTEADY masts can be fitted with a semi-automatic locking system that simplifies unlocking. By pulling a rope, the operator releases both bolts on a section, while the levers automatically return to the locked position—allowing quick access to the next section and improving efficiency.
The FULL AUTOMATIC version of SUPERSTEADY masts features a next-generation patented system offering maximum ease and safety.
Thanks to the integrated electro-pneumatic system and remote electronic control, the operator can adjust the mast height without having to manually unlock each section—working safely from a distance.
All masts with locking systems can be equipped with additional accessories to enhance performance in demanding conditions. These include tensioning kits for improved stability and wind resistance, external cable guides, custom mounting brackets based on installation type, and sand-scraper rings designed to protect sections in harsh environments such as deserts or dusty areas.
These features make the masts even more reliable, versatile, and ready for complex operational contexts.
